Fire Detection Experiment

DTS can measure temperature distribution over a wide area with one optical fiber sensor cable which makes it an ideal fire detector.

Measured temperature distribution data can be computer-proccesed and accommodated in various kinds of fire detections such as rate of temperature rise, fixed-temperature detection, distributed detection, and spot detection.

Since the location of abnormal conditions can be pinpointed, the integration of DTS systems with fire extinguishing equipment can realize superior fire prevention systems.
